Printing

While the need for users need to print is almost universal, how the printer is configured can vary greatly for network to network. The simplest configurations is printer plugged directly into an Inveneo Computing Station. However, if users on other computers want to print as well, configuring printers becomes more involved. If the network was an Inveneo Hub Server, the printer can be plugged into the hub server and shared with all the Inveneo Computing Stations. If a printer has its own ethernet port, it can be plugged directly into a switch or router, then shared on the network. If a network does not have a hub server, the printer could be shared among the Inveneo Computing Stations only. Finally, sometimes users do not need to print on piece of paper but create a .pdf file. To decide which printing configuration is right for you, depends on the network. If an Inveneo Hub Server is present on the network, it almost always best to plug into printer into server. Then, share the printer.
